gSource gouges are crafted from high quality German surgical stainless steel and are useful in helping to scoop away strips of soft bone, especially in bone grafting procedures. Gouges are similar to chisels but have a partly cylindrical blade with the bevel on either the concave or the convex side. There are various handle styles and also some handles which are made from different materials other than stainless steel.
